Tennessee High School Basketball - David Crockett can't hold off West Ridge

The West Ridge Wolves basketball team scored 56 points and held the host David Crockett Pioneers to 55 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolves now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Daniel Boone for a 4A District 1 contest on Friday, February 2. West Ridge will battle a Trailblazers team coming off a 59-54 league win over Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN). The Trailblazers record now stands at 12-7.

The Pioneers (19-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Sullivan East was nudged by Tennessee (Bristol, TN), 81-57, in a league contest.
