South Carolina High School Basketball - Manning tops Georgetown
January 30, 2024: Georgetown, SC 29440 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Manning Monarchs (Manning, SC) and the host Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC), saw Manning's basketball squad knock off Georgetown by a tally of 57-39.
With the victory, Manning improves its record to 2-18 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Aynor (Aynor, SC) to play the Blue Jackets in a AAA Region 7 challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Blue Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Aynor lost 36-34 in their recent league challenge against Dillon (Dillon, SC)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Loris Lions (Loris, SC) in a AAA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Georgetown will attempt to improve on its 2-19 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 10-13 record after their 35-32 league loss to Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC).
