January 30, 2024: Gordonsville, TN 38563 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Jackson County Blue Devils (Gainesboro, TN) and the host Gordonsville Tigers (Gordonsville, TN), saw Jackson County's basketball squad overcome Gordonsville by a tally of 47-33.
With the victory, Jackson County improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to York Institute (Jamestown, TN) to confront the Dragons in a 2A District 5 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. York Institute won 49-26 in their recent league challenge against Watertown (Watertown, TN)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Clay County Bulldogs (Celina, TN) in a 1A District 7 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Gordonsville will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 49-31 league win over Clarkrange (Clarkrange, TN).
