Montana High School Basketball - Shields Valley nips Joliet
January 30, 2024: Joliet, MT 59041 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Shields Valley Rebels (Clyde Park, MT) and the host Joliet J Hawks (Joliet, MT), saw Shields Valley's basketball squad hold off Joliet by a tally of 41-39.
With the victory, Shields Valley improves its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Rebels host Gardiner (Gardiner, MT) to play the Bruins in a C District 12 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 0-9.
Next up, the J Hawks play the Park City Panthers (Park City, MT) in a B District 4 challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Joliet will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 42-19 non-league win over Absarokee (Absarokee, MT).
