January 30, 2024: Wanaque, NJ 07465 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ) and the visiting Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ), saw Lakeland Regional's basketball squad hold off Wayne Valley by a tally of 57-54.
With the victory, Lakeland Regional improves its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to West Milford (West Milford, NJ) to confront the Highlanders in a Big North - Independence challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. West Milford won 44-18 in their recent league challenge against Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ)
Next up, the Indians confront the Fair Lawn Cutters (Fair Lawn, NJ) in a Big North - Independence challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Wayne Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record.
