Iowa High School Basketball - Le Mars crushes Sioux City North
January 30, 2024: Le Mars, IA 51031 Le Mars Bulldogs (Le Mars, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sioux City North Stars (Sioux City, IA), 69-35 in a league bout.
With the victory, Le Mars upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA) to play the Yellowjackets in a Missouri River bout on Thursday, February 1. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 1-15. Jefferson lost 65-40 in their recent league bout against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA)
Next up, the Stars play the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors (Sergeant Bluff, IA) in a Missouri River bout, on Friday, February 2. Sioux City North will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE).
