California High School Basketball - Silver Creek can't hold off Leigh

The Leigh Longhorns basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Silver Creek Raiders to 32 in the Longhorns league triumph on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piedmont Hills for a Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa contest on Thursday, February 1. Leigh will battle a Pirates team coming off a 57-32 league loss to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 4-15.

The Raiders (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (San Jose, CA). The Lions enter the Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa bout with a 12-7 record. In their last bout, Lincoln held off Oak Grove (San Jose, CA), 48-40, in a league bout.
