January 30, 2024: North St. Paul, MN 55109 The North Polars basketball team (North St. Paul, MN), was overwhelmed 61-12 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN)
The Zephyrs now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hill-Murray for a AAA Section 4 battle on Friday, February 2. Mahtomedi will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 78-39 non-league win over Como Park (St. Paul, MN). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-9.
The Polars (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Simley was overwhelmed by Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN), 64-24, in a league battle.
