January 30, 2024: West Bend, WI 53095 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the West Bend West Spartans (West Bend, WI) and the visiting Port Washington Pirates (Port Washington, WI), saw West Bend West's basketball squad hold off Port Washington by a count of 67-61.
With the victory, West Bend West upgrades its record to 1-17 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Grafton (Grafton, WI) to play the Black Hawks in a North Shore challenge on Friday, February 2. The Black Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Grafton won 59-50 in their recent league challenge against Cedarburg (Cedarburg, WI)
Next up, the Pirates play the Hartford Orioles (Hartford, WI) in a North Shore test, on Thursday, February 1. Port Washington will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Orioles go into the test with a 17-2 record after their 57-56 league win over Homestead (Mequon, WI).
