Florida High School Basketball - Barron Collier can't hold off First Baptist Academy
January 30, 2024: Naples, FL 34109 The First Baptist Academy Lions basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Barron Collier Cougars to 53 in the Lions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lely for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1.
The Cougars (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Gateway Charter (Fort Myers, FL). The Griffins enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Gateway Charter was nudged by Golden Gate (Naples, FL), 34-32, in a non-league contest.
