January 30, 2024: Fayetteville, NC 28301 The E.E. Smith Golden Bulls basketball team (Fayetteville, NC), was toppled 61-48 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC)
The Jaguars now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lee County for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 1. Overhills will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 66-28 league loss to Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-10.
The Golden Bulls (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Harnett Central (Angier, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Harnett Central was toppled by Westover (Fayetteville, NC), 57-36, in a non-league battle.
