Florida High School Basketball - Ridge Community holds off George Jenkins
January 30, 2024: Lakeland, FL 33813 Fans at Tuesday's league test between the Ridge Community Bolts (Davenport, FL) and the host George Jenkins Eagles (Lakeland, FL), witnessed Ridge Community's basketball squad nip George Jenkins by a margin of 59-57.
The Bolts (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Auburndale (Auburndale, FL). The Bloodhounds go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Auburndale got by Bartow (Bartow, FL), 43-36, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Wales for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 31. George Jenkins will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 45-38 non-league win over Santa Fe Catholic (Lakeland, FL). The Highlanders record now stands at 10-4.
