January 30, 2024: Roswell, NM 88203 The Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), 73-68 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Coyotes (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen go into the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Carlsbad got by Clovis (Clovis, NM), 53-49, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Clovis for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Hobbs will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 53-49 non-league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.
