North Carolina High School Basketball - Ridgecroft nips Pungo Christian Academy
January 30, 2024: Ahoskie, NC 27910 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) and the visiting Pungo Christian Academy Raiders (Belhaven, NC), saw Ridgecroft's basketball squad hold off Pungo Christian Academy by a tally of 33-28.
With the victory, Ridgecroft improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Rams host Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC) to play the Colts in a challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Albemarle School lost 42-40 in their recent league challenge against Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC)
Next up, the Raiders play the Mattamuskeet Lakers (Swan Quarter, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 1. Pungo Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 52-27 non-league loss to Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC).
