In Thursday's league contest, the host Cumberland Valley Eagles basketball team scored a big 64-35 triumph over the State College Little Lions.

The Eagles (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA). The Panthers go into the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Central Dauphin East was trounced by Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA), 65-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Little Lions battle the Central York Panthers (York, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 3. State College will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record.
