The Gary West Side Cougars basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host East Chicago Central Cardinals to 57 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Tindley for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Gary West Side will confront a Tigers team coming off a 78-43 non-league win over Irvington Preparatory Academy (Indianapolis, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 5-10.
