January 30, 2025: Northway, AK 99764 The Fort Yukon Eagles (Fort Yukon, AK) basketball edged the host Walter Northway Warriors (Northway, AK), 77-75 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Effie Kokrine Charter for a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. Fort Yukon will play a Warriors team coming off a 61-51 non-league win over Tikigaq (Point Hope, AK). The Warriors record now stands at 8-0.
With the loss, Walter Northway falls to 2-5 on the campaign.
