The Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) basketball crushed the host Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD), 72-35 in Thursday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they host New Hope Academy Regional for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. Largo will play a Tigers team coming off a 66-60 non-league win over Banneker (Washington, DC). The Tigers record now stands at 11-16.
