In Thursday's league contest, the host Largo Lions basketball team scored a big 96-37 triumph over the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South Tigers.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bullis (Potomac, MD). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Bullis smashed Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD), 74-27, in a non-league contest.
