January 30, 2025: Geary, OK 73040 The Okeene Whippets basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Geary Bison to 48 in the Whippets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Whippets now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Timberlake for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Okeene will play a Tigers team coming off a 55-43 non-league win over Medford (Medford, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Geary falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Bison host Verden (Verden, OK) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 10-8. Verden lost 64-41 in their recent league game against Minco (Minco, OK)
