January 30, 2025: Rosston, AR 71858 The Kirby Trojans (Kirby, AR) basketball were winner over the host Nevada Blue Jays (Rosston, AR), 60-50 in Thursday's league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 15-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lafayette County for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. Kirby will play a Cougars team coming off a 57-40 league win over Taylor (Taylor, AR). The Cougars record now stands at 15-7.
With the loss, Nevada falls to 22-7 on the campaign. The Blue jays host Blevins (Blevins, AR) to play the Hornets in a 1A Region 7 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 13-4.
