Missouri High School Basketball - West Platte toppled by North Platte
January 30, 2025: Dearborn, MO 64439 North Platte Panthers (Dearborn, MO) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO), 60-45 in a league match.
With the victory, North Platte advances its record to 16-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to St. Joseph Christian (St. Joseph, MO) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Lions enter the match with a record of 11-10. St. Joseph Christian lost 44-27 in their recent league match against North Andrew (Rosendale, MO)
The Bluejays now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Holt for a non-league match on Monday, February 3. West Platte will face a Knights squad coming off a 59-44 non-league loss to Maysville (Maysville, MO). The Knights record now stands at 6-16.
