The South Charleston Black Eagles defeated the visiting Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 51-42 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Black Eagles clash with the Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV) in a Mountain State outing, on Tuesday, February 4. South Charleston will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Cougars come into the outing with a 4-7 record after their 76-75 league win over Riverside (Belle, WV).

The Flying Eagles (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Bulldogs come into the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Martinsburg overcame King's Christian Academy (Callaway, MD), 69-60, in a non-league outing.
