New Mexico High School Basketball - Hope Christian overwhelms Pojoaque Valley
January 30, 2025: Pojoaque, NM 87506 The Hope Christian Huskies basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes to 52 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Huskies now possess a 14-1 record. They play next when they host Cleveland for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Hope Christian will confront a Storm team coming off a 47-43 non-league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Storm record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Pojoaque Valley falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Elks/elkettes host Moriarty (Moriarty, NM) to confront the Pintos in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Pintos go into the game with a record of 3-4. Moriarty lost 50-29 in their recent non-league game against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM)
