The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ) and the host Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), observed Agua Fria's basketball team overwhelm Cactus by a margin of 63-24.

The Owls (12-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Westview (Avondale, AZ). The Knights come into the 4A West Valley challenge with a 2-15 record. In their last challenge, Westview was trounced by Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ), 45-30, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cobras battle the Peoria Panthers (Peoria, AZ) in a 4A West Valley challenge, on Friday, January 31. Cactus will attempt to better on its 1-19 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 61-22 league loss to Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ).
