Iowa High School Basketball - AHSTW routs Red Oak
January 30, 2025: Avoca, IA In Thursday's non-league contest, the host AHSTW Vikings basketball team scored a big 47-13 triumph over the Red Oak Tigers.
The Vikings (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA). The Big Reds go into the Western Iowa contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Missouri Valley was trounced by Treynor (Treynor, IA), 73-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Clarinda Cardinals (Clarinda, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten contest, on Friday, January 31. Red Oak will attempt to better on its 0-17 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 9-9 record after their 57-31 non-league win over Tri-Center (Neola, IA).
