In Thursday's league contest, the host Allen East Mustangs basketball team scored a good 49-39 triumph over the Lincolnview Lancers.

The Mustangs (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Spencerville (Spencerville, OH). The Bearcats go into the Northwest contest with a 10-9 record.

In their next game, the Lancers battle the Fort Jennings Musketeers (Fort Jennings, OH) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 3. Lincolnview will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Musketeers go into the contest with a 7-13 record after their 43-26 non-league loss to Jefferson (Delphos, OH).
