In Thursday's league test, the Cascade Ramblers (Cascade, ID) basketball squad trounced the host Horseshoe Bend Mustangs (Horseshoe Bend, ID), by a score of 48-16.

Next, the Ramblers encounter the Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 31. Cascade will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a 8-7 record after their 54-18 non-league win over Horseshoe Bend (Horseshoe Bend, ID).

The Mustangs (3-14) will now prepare for their test against Greenleaf Friends Academy (Greenleaf, ID). The Grizzlies come into the 1A Long Pin test with a 2-16 record. In their last test, Greenleaf Friends Academy was routed by Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID), 61-6, in a league test.
