Ohio High School Basketball - Perrysburg holds off Central Catholic
January 30, 2025: Perrysburg, OH 43551 The Perrysburg Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Central Catholic Fighting Irish to 44 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Yellow Jackets now have a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Ottawa-Glandorf for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Perrysburg will confront a Titans team coming off a 65-16 league win over Van Wert (Van Wert, OH). The Titans record now stands at 17-0.
With the loss, Central Catholic falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Fighting irish host Genoa Area (Genoa, OH) to confront the Comets in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Comets go into the game with a record of 15-4. Genoa Area won 57-25 in their recent league game against Otsego (Tontogany, OH)
