Ohio High School Basketball - Archbishop Hoban overwhelms Central Catholic
December 21, 2024: Akron, OH 44306 The Archbishop Hoban Knights basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Central Catholic Fighting Irish to 31 in the Knights league triumph on Saturday.
The Knights now have a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Perrysburg for a non-league game on Sunday, December 22. Archbishop Hoban will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 80-53 league loss to Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Central Catholic falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Fighting irish travel to Northview (Sylvania, OH) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 7-1. Northview won 84-14 in their recent non-league game against Scott (Toledo, OH)
