Arkansas High School Basketball - Dermott thwarts Hampton
January 30, 2025: Dermott, AR 71638 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Dermott Rams (Dermott, AR) and the visiting Hampton Bulldogs (Hampton, AR), observed Dermott's basketball team knock off Hampton by a score of 40-29.
The Rams (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarendon (Clarendon, AR). The Lions come into the 1A Region 6 challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Clarendon prevailed over Arkansas School for the Deaf (Little Rock, AR), 46-19, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR) in a 2A Region 8 challenge, on Friday, January 31. Hampton will attempt to improve on its 12-13 season record. The Go-Devils come into the challenge with a 0-19 record after their 66-34 league loss to Ouachita (Donaldson, AR).
