Oregon High School Basketball - Imbler thwarts Echo
January 30, 2025: Echo, OR 97826 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Imbler Panthers (Imbler, OR) and the host Echo Cougars (Echo, OR), observed Imbler's basketball team knock off Echo by a score of 47-35.
The Panthers (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cove (Cove, OR). The Leopards come into the 1A Old Oregon challenge with a 4-16 record. In their last challenge, Cove was knocked off by Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR), 31-28, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Pilot Rock Rockets (Pilot Rock, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon challenge, on Friday, January 31. Echo will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 46-39 league win over Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR).
