The Kasson-Mantorville Komets basketball squad (Kasson, MN), was nudged 53-52 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN)

With the victory, Lourdes advances its record to 12-9 on the year. The Eagles host Chatfield (Chatfield, MN) to meet the Gophers in a AA Section 1 battle on Saturday, February 1.
