January 30, 2025: Lincoln, ME 04457 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) and the visiting Sumner Tigers (East Sullivan, ME), observed Mattanawcook's basketball team overwhelm Sumner by a margin of 92-19.
The Lynx (15-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Howlers come into the C North challenge with a 17-0 record. In their last challenge, Penobscot Valley trounced Penquis Valley (Milo, ME), 103-11, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME) in a C North challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Sumner will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record.
