The Meadow Bridge Wildcats basketball squad (Meadow Bridge, WV), was crushed 52-25 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Montcalm Generals (Montcalm, WV)

With the victory, Montcalm advances its record to 2-6 on the year. The Generals host Greater Beckley Christian (Prosperity, WV) to meet the Crusaders in a Coalfield A battle on Monday, February 3. The Crusaders enter the battle with a record of 5-7. Greater Beckley Christian won 49-44 in their recent non-league battle against Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV)
