January 30, 2025: Olathe, KS 66062 Olathe South Falcons (Olathe, KS) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Shawnee Mission East Lancers (Shawnee Mission, KS), 46-25 in a league match.
With the victory, Olathe South upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Falcons travel to Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS) to face the Salthawks in a non-league match on Friday, January 31. The Salthawks enter the match with a record of 6-3. Hutchinson won 45-27 in their recent non-league match against Dodge City (Dodge City, KS)
The Lancers now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gardner-Edgerton for a Sunflower match on Tuesday, February 4. Shawnee Mission East will face a Trailblazers squad coming off a 61-39 non-league loss to Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS). The Trailblazers record now stands at 6-5.
