The Tandem Friends Badgers basketball squad (Charlottesville, VA), was nudged 28-27 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Quantico Warriors (Quantico, VA)

With the victory, Quantico advances its record to 3-10 on the year. The Warriors host Highland (Warrenton, VA) to meet the Hawks in a Greater Piedmont battle on Saturday, February 1. The Hawks enter the battle with a record of 12-3. Highland won 51-19 in their recent league battle against Randolph-Macon Academy (Front Royal, VA)

The Badgers now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fredericksburg Academy for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, February 4. Tandem Friends will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 41-14 league loss to Wakefield School (The Plains, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-5.
