Iowa High School Basketball - West Lyon can't hold off Western Christian
January 30, 2025: Hull, IA 51239 Western Christian Wolfpack (Hull, IA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA), 41-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Western Christian upgrades its record to 6-13 on the year. The Wolfpack host Worthington (Worthington, MN) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 1-18. Worthington lost 62-28 in their recent league match against St. Peter (St. Peter, MN)
The Wildcats now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sioux Center for a Siouxland match on Friday, January 31. West Lyon will face a Warriors squad coming off a 53-50 league win over Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 15-2.
