The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), witnessed O'Connor's basketball squad rout Mountain Ridge by a count of 93-62.

With the victory, O'Connor advances its record to 15-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ) to meet the Jaguars in a 6A Desert Valley battle on Tuesday, February 3. The Jaguars enter the battle with a record of 4-14. Boulder Creek lost 86-57 in their recent league battle against Liberty (Peoria, AZ)

The Mountain Lions now own a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a 6A Desert Valley battle on Tuesday, February 3. Mountain Ridge will battle a Lions team coming off a 70-56 league win over Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 14-7.
