In Friday's non-league contest, the host Arrowhead Christian Academy Eagles basketball team scored a big 54-15 triumph over the Verde Valley Coyotes.

The Eagles (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Jones-Gordon (Scottsdale, AZ). The go into the Canyon Division 1 - Cactus contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Jones-Gordon was trounced by Arrowhead Christian Academy (Glendale, AZ), 45-26, in a league contest.
