The Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Cortez Colts to 31 in the Golden Hawks league win on Friday.

Next, the Golden Hawks clash with the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon outing, on Thursday, February 5. Desert Sunrise will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Buffaloes come into the outing with a 2-14 record after their 41-22 league loss to Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ).
