Kansas High School Basketball - Western Plains bests Northern Valley

The Western Plains Bobcats (Ransom, KS) basketball toppled the host Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS), 40-28 in Friday's league bout.

The Bobcats now possess a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Triplains/Brewster for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 3. Western Plains will play a Titans team coming off a 62-24 non-league loss to Golden Plains (Rexford, KS). The Titans record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Northern Valley falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Huskies host Logan/Palco (Logan, KS) to play the in a Western Kansas Liberty bout on Saturday, January 31.
