January 31, 2022: Stratford, CT 06614 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Weston Trojans (Weston, CT) and the host Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT), saw Weston's basketball squad overcome Bunnell by a tally of 54-40.
With the victory, Weston improves its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Trojans host Brookfield (Brookfield, CT) to confront the Bobcats in a Southwest - Patriot challenge on Thursday, February 3. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Brookfield lost 51-37 in their recent league challenge against Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial challenge, on Thursday, February 3. Bunnell will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 52-41 league loss to New Milford (New Milford, CT).
