Connecticut High School Basketball - Morgan holds off Haddam-Killingworth
January 31, 2022: Higganum, CT 06441 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT) and the host Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT), saw Morgan's basketball squad hold off Haddam-Killingworth by a tally of 37-35.
With the victory, Morgan improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to East Hampton (East Hampton, CT) to confront the Bellringers in a Shoreline challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Bellringers come into the challenge with a record of 12-1. East Hampton won 42-39 in their recent league challenge against Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) in a Shoreline challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Haddam-Killingworth will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 64-44 non-league loss to Newington (Newington, CT).
