Ohio High School Basketball - Mississinawa Valley nips Houston
January 31, 2022: Houston, OH 45333 Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks (Union City, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Houston Wildcats (Houston, OH), 63-59 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mississinawa Valley upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Dixie (New Lebanon, OH) to play the Greyhounds in a Western Ohio bout on Thursday, February 3. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a record of 11-6. Dixie won 52-37 in their recent non-league bout against Legacy Christian Academy (Xenia, OH)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers (Sidney, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 5. Houston will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 47-30 non-league win over Newton Local (Pleasant Hill, OH).
