Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) and the visiting Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), saw Ponderosa's basketball squad wallop Oakmont by a tally of 79-39.

With the victory, Ponderosa improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Bruins host Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA) to confront the Miners in a challenge on Wednesday, February 2. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 7-15. Nevada Union lost 82-56 in their recent league challenge against West Park (Roseville, CA)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, February 4. Oakmont will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record.
