Minnesota High School Basketball - Adrian tops Heron Lake-Okabena
January 31, 2023: Okabena, MN 56161 Adrian Dragons (Adrian, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Heron Lake-Okabena Wildcats (Okabena, MN), 77-66 in a league bout.
With the victory, Adrian upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Dragons host Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN) to play the Falcons in a A Section 3 bout on Friday, February 3. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 7-12. Red Rock Central lost 57-41 in their recent league bout against Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Murray County Central Rebels (Slayton, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Heron Lake-Okabena will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 78-38 league win over Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN).
