Massachusetts High School Basketball - Algonquin Regional ripped by Wachusett Regional
January 31, 2023: Holden, MA 01520 The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Algonquin Regional Titans to 34 in the Mountaineers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mountaineers now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Wachusett Regional will battle a Polar Bears team coming off a 71-49 league win over South (Worcester, MA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 14-2.
The Titans (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA). The Red Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Fitchburg triumphed over Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA), 55-31, in a non-league contest.
