Iowa High School Basketball - H-L-V thwarts B-G-M
January 31, 2023: Victor, IA 52347 The H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA), 54-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Warriors (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA). The Tigers go into the South Iowa Cedar test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Iowa Valley notched a victory over Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA), 64-46, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host GMG for a non-league test on Thursday, February 2. B-G-M will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 85-56 non-league loss to Baxter (Baxter, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-9.
