January 31, 2023: Destrehan, LA 70047 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA) and the visiting Bourgeois Braves (Gray, LA), saw Destrehan's basketball squad overcome Bourgeois by a tally of 52-44.
With the victory, Destrehan improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA) to confront the Trojans in a 5A District 7 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Central Lafourche won 60-53 in their recent league challenge against Terrebonne (Houma, LA)
Next up, the Braves confront the Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Bourgeois will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record.
